This is a standard Tungsten Carbide share, retrofitted to Riecam Sugarbeet Harvesters. This share is primarily made from chromium boron but also has Tungsten Carbide along the wearing edge of the part.
Aswell as providing better economics from its increased life, the Tungsten Carbide tile sharpens with wear providing a cutting action, decreasing draft / fuel, while at the same time reducing smearing and compaction.
