This is a Tungsten Carbide wing which is to retrofit SUMO machinery. It is primarily made from high quality chromium boron but also has tugnsten carbide on the leading edges.
Aswell as providing better economics from its increased life, the Tungsten Carbide tile sharpens with wear providing a cutting action, decreasing draft / fuel, while at the same time reducing smearing and compaction.
